Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash with car
A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after he was involved in a crash with a car.
Police closed Twist Lane in Leigh after the collision between a Lex Moto bike and a Peugeot 207 at the junction of Atherleigh Way at about 8.10pm last night.
The man, aged in his late forties, was conscious and breathing and was taken to hospital suffering minor injuries.
The North West Air Ambulance helicopter was also called to the scene as his injuries were initially thought to be more serious.
