Looking for a Valentine's Day treat? Supermarket sells 25p oysters
MORRISONS at Leigh Sports Village is selling fresh oysters for 25p each in the run up to Valentine's Day.
The special offer ends on Sunday and aims to get more people to try the shellfish, which is a well-known aphrodisiac.
Scott Dunkley, general manager of the Leigh store, said: “We want to make oysters completely affordable and available for everyone in Leigh to try.
"Each of our pacific oysters cost little more than a fish finger to buy."
The store's fishmongers are on hand with advice on how to serve and eat oysters.
