Body of missing man found in Hindley park
POLICE have stopped the search for Malcolm Ellison after a body was found in a Hindley park on Monday night.
Officers were called to Leyland Park, where they discovered the 74-year-old.
Greater Manchester Police had sent out an appeal for help with finding the missing man from Wigan, who was last seen in Atherton Road, Hindley, on January 31.
Police have thanked the public for their support and help in searching for Mr Ellison, pictured.
