CENTURION players will be the stars of a family fun fundraising day on Friday in support of a little boy with leukaemia and cerebral palsy.

Bents Garden and Home centre in Glazebury will be hosting the event where visitors can meet some of their favourite players, take part in skill sessions and ask questions to their sporting idols.

The money raised will be going to the Ben’s Wish charity which is raising funds for Ben Robinson, a 10-year-old-boy from Leigh who has leukaemia and cerebral palsy.

From 11am to 12.30pm there will be a skills session with players Adam Higson, Dayne Weston and Jamie Acton as well as a book signing with Andy Reid, an triple amputee who was in Afghanistan.

From 12.30 to 2.00pmthere will be a skills session with Fuifui Moi Moi, Micky Higham, Tom Spencer and a book signing session by Centurions player Fuifui Moi Moi And lastly a skill session with Gareth Hock, Cory Paterson, Josh Drinkwater will be held from 2pm until 3pm and Centurion and England International player Gaz Hock will have his book signing at this time as well.

Additional activities will include stocks, face painting, a horse trailer photo box, a treasure hunt and an armed forces community stall as well as a premier sport kicking inflatable which will be located in Bents’ car park.
