FOLLOWING the sad passing of Manchester United and England football legend Sir Bobby Charlton a reader submitted this photograph.
1966 World Cup winner Sir Bobby is pictured alongside the then Leigh coach Alex Murphy with the Challenge Cup in the centre, proudly sporting a red ribbon so presumably it is an event that took place following Leigh's 1971 Wembley success.
Does anyone know what the occasion/event was and name any of the people on the photograph?
