RESIDENTS in an area of Tyldesley have been left in the dark after a power outage hit in the early hours.
The power cut was reported to Electricity North West at 4.46am this morning, Friday.
The outage has affected properties around Ennerdale Road, Rydal Close and nearby.
There are 32 properties affected by the power cut.
Work is ongoing to fix the issue and an estimated restoration time has been set for 5.40pm today.

In a statement, Electricity North West said: "This power cut has been caused by an unexpected incident with the underground cable that provides electricity to your home or business.
"We didn't know before your electricity went off that this was going to happen but now we know, rest assured we will get your power back on safely and as quickly as possible."
