THREE tries conceded in just nine minutes at the back end of the first half threatened to ruin all Leigh’s good work. They’d been impressive enough in building up a 16-0 lead but then threw it all away while some shoddy defending. The half time break came just at the right time, enabling Leigh to re-group and re-gather their composure.
