ROOKIE full-back Ian Mort took the scoring honours with 16 points for for all-round effort and enterprise, Leigh had non-one better than loose-forward Aaron Smith. Up against his former club, Smith was Leigh’s best forward in a beaten pack. Strong defensively and smart with his distribution, Smith didn’t deserve to be a loser.
