A LATE hat-trick from Addison Brown secured a 12-9 win for Tyldesley at Kendal and a place in the semi-finals of the Bolton and District Knockout Cup.
Brown eased pressure building on the visitors with a scoring burst in the final quarter after the hosts had pulled the scores back to 9-8.
Tyldesley led the tie from start to finish, with Brown scoring six goals in total, but they had never been able to open up anything more than a two-goal advantage.
While Brown hogged the limelight, the side’s remaining six goals were shared around, with Aaron Royle, Adam Toone, Jonathan Stafford, John Fletcher, Chris Hughes and Rob Leyland also on the scoresheet.
