ASTLEY and Tyldesley claimed the Manchester League Division Two title for the second consecutive season after securing a sixth straight win at Stockport.

The side's top five scorers dropped just one point to clinch the league in emphatic style.

A&T provided the top five scorers in the under-10s match and also in the overall u10s Grand Prix series.

John White, Charlie Burgess and Joe Quarmby all scored 15 points on the night and finished in that order in the Grand Prix standings.

The u13s match saw A&T's Max Evans race to a 16-point maximum and clinch the overall u13s Grand Prix title.

A&T's Ciaran Collins top scored in the u16s match, losing once to the u16s Grand Prix winner, Astley's Adam Watson, who races for Sheffield.

Reece Pollitt just missed out on the overall u19s Grand Prix title to Stockport's Jake Read, with an exclusion in heat four proving costly for the A&T rider.

Defending Division One champions Stockport took the win on the night in the senior match to claim the overall title. A&T pipped Bury to second place, both on the night and in the overall standings.
