I NOTICE from the article about B&M dated May 19 that there is some concern that it does not sell a full range of groceries.

I live in Stockport and work for a greengrocer, and nearby we also have a baker and a butcher.

Our local supermarket also does not have a range of groceries.

This could be a good opportunity to either increase or set up those businesses.

The alternative could be an area full of charity shops, estate agents and takeaways.

There is nothing wrong with those, but people may like to buy a cabbage and a proper loaf. We all need to eat, and real food is best.
